Please read these terms and conditions before signing and returning your confirmation. The booking arrangements are made between us, Peter and Jayne Colson, the owners of Casa Colon and you the guest.
The person who makes the booking accepts these conditions on behalf of his/her party and is responsible for all payments due. Bookings are not available to persons who are under the age of 18, nor to groups under the age of 30.
- Liability – All information has been provided in good faith and no liability is accepted by the Owners for any misrepresentation of property material or accommodation. No liability can be accepted for any personal injury, or loss or damage to personal property however caused. Parents are responsible for the safety of their children in and around the swimming pool.
- Deposit & Payment – A 20% deposit is required at the time of booking. If the booking is made within 6 weeks of the date of arrival, then full payment is required immediately. Where an initial deposit is paid, the balance must be paid 6 weeks prior to the check-in date along with a security deposit of £400. If this is not paid within 7 days of it being due, then we reserve the right to cancel the booking without any refund. Bookings will not be guaranteed until we have received your full payment as required and have sent you our formal booking confirmation in writing.
- Cancellation – For cancellations by you more than 30 days prior to arrival date 100% refund will be given of the amount paid. For cancellations between 14 and 30 days a 50% refund will be given. No refund will be made for cancellations after 14 days before check in unless we can relet the property for the same period at the full price. Should we have to cancel due to unforeseen circumstances, a full refund will be given.
- Behaviour – It is your responsibility to ensure that you and the members of your party do not behave in a way which causes disturbance, offence or danger to others or which risks damage to property belonging to others.
- Breakages – The guest shall take all reasonable and proper care of the property and its furnishings and leave them in the same state of repair and condition at the end of the rental period, as at the beginning. Any incident should be reported to the Owners, or Property Manager, either immediately or at check-out. If the security deposit is insufficient to cover damages, the Owner shall be entitled to make an additional charge to the guest.
- Property check-in/check-out times – Access to Casa Colon is from 5pm on your day of arrival to allow time for cleaning and servicing and the property should be vacated by 10am on the day of departure (unless otherwise agreed with us or our Property Manager). Our Property Manager will meet all guests on check-in and check-out.
- Rights of access – The guest must allow access to the property to the Owners or Property Manager at all reasonable times for the purpose of maintenance or inspection.
- Pets – Pets are not permitted.
- Smoking – Smoking is not allowed inside the property.
- Complaints – Once our property has been booked and paid for in full, clear arrival instructions will be provided which include contact details for our Property Manager. In the unlikely event of a problem with our property, please inform our Property Manager in the first instance.
